Brett Bartolomei’s Story

Brett Bartolomei, owner of Elements Heating and Plumbing, grew up in Kings Beach, California, before moving to Sonoma with his mother at the age of 15. At just 18 years old, a family friend recognized Brett’s mechanical instincts and gave him the opportunity to learn the plumbing trade. Starting out in San Francisco with new construction, remodels, and commercial plumbing right out of the gate, Brett quickly developed a strong foundation built on hard work, hands-on experience, and doing things the right way from the start.

At 21, Brett returned to his roots in the North Tahoe–Truckee area, drawn back to the mountain community he grew up in and the unique challenges of working in a cold, high-altitude climate. There, he joined Clark Heating and Plumbing, gaining valuable experience installing and servicing systems in some of the region’s most demanding conditions.

Brett later spent 15 years with D&D Plumbing, where he further expanded his expertise across plumbing, hydronic heating, forced-air, and oil fired systems. Those years cemented his technical knowledge and reinforced his belief in quality workmanship, reliability, and professional integrity.

Today, Brett leads Elements Heating and Plumbing with a hands-on approach and a commitment to long-term performance. His deep local roots, decades of experience, and practical understanding of mountain systems shape every project he takes on. Homeowners, property managers, and contractors trust Brett for honest guidance, precise workmanship, and solutions built to last in the Reno/Tahoe climate.
